A Visit from Florida

We had the wonderful blessing of having a quick visit from my Aunt Beth and my cousin Kristen and her three sweet kids. We had six kids under the age of six in the house so you can imagine the energy level and why I only took one picture! It was so much fun to have the kids together and to see them enjoy playing with each other. While they were here Jonah came down with a terrible double ear infection so that limited our activities, but it was a wonderful time together. Thanks Aunt Beth and Kristen for making the trip through the tropical storm!

Sick Kids

Sweet Jonah had a horrible double ear infection

Looking a little rough

Poor Emma screamed for three days and three nights. Her bout with strep was rough.

Aunt Dori sent a care package to the kids with activities to keep them busy while they recovered.

She laid on the sofa and watched tv while just drooling into her pillow so she didn't have to swallow.

Summer Fun

The result of Jonah being left alone with the playdough - he made it into balls and threw it all over the kitchen. He does love playing with playdough though. He decided that he doesn't like the taste but he continues to bite it.

Since I cannot manage all three kids at the pool alone yet we are finding ways to have fun in the yard. The kids really enjoy the baby pools and sometimes we add the sprinkler in as well. This has really helped Jonah grow in his love of water and level of comfort at the pool.

She came downstairs with bows all over her head.

Did we mention that Jacob is a huge boy?!

This was the first time Jonah actually played at the pool. He was floating and rolling around the baby pool and when Mike took him in the big pool he wanted to float on his own. He got floaties to be like Emma and I think that really helped.
