Tea Party
Emma's Birthday
Emma had a wonderful birthday! Grammy, Poppa, Uncle Andrew, Aunt Abby, Sam, Uncle Ben and Aunt Erin all came to Cincinnati to celebrate. We had a wonderful weekend and a great party. Emma loved all of the attention, of course! Thank you to everyone for the thoughtful and generous gifts and for making the effort to come to Emma's party. That meant a lot to us. Enjoy the pictures!

Aunt Sue-Sue
Aunt Sue drove 8 hours to visit us last week. She arrived on Wednesday and left on Saturday morning. We had a great time walking and eating lots of fun things. Aunt Sue gave Emma her first taste of chocolate - so appropriate! Emma just loved Aunt Sue and so much enjoyed looking for squirrels, reading books and snuggling with her. We cannot wait to see her again soon. Thanks for coming, Aunt Sue!

Here We Go Steelers!!!
Some Updates
Here are some picture and video updates from the last week:
Tante Lil sent Emma this Lil' Sweede onesie when Emma was born. She will no longer stay still for pictures, so this is the best I could do.
Here is a video of Emma "eating" mashed potatoes with a spoon. Just a note - she cannot eat with a spoon. She was just "practicing"!
This video shows what Emma does all day long...puts things in her cart, pushes it around, takes the items out and repeats the whole process.
Emma got this chair from Nana and Papaw and here is how she sits down in the chair.

Tuesday
Yesterday Emma and I met Aunt Sarah and Sarhea at the park to play. The cousins enjoyed the time to explore and play together. Sarhea is doing so well and is just about ready to walk on her own. It was fun to watch them interact and play together on the slide.
Aunt Sarah with the girls. Emma refused to sit still for any amount of time and definitely did not want to pose for pictures. There was too much to go see and do.
Earlier that morning Emma was playing in the kitchen and I walked out and came back in to find her stuck in the pot. HILARIOUS!!!
That afternoon I came around the corner and she was just talking to Raggedy Ann and hugging her. It was so sweet. She put her in the cart and took her out while talking to her for a good twenty minutes. She gave her kisses and pats and then stuck her in the back to push her around. So very sweet.
