Well, it has been 2 1/2 months since my last post. Somehow in the midst of Jacob's birth and all of our visitors and adjusting to our new "normal" I have not stayed on top of the blog. The longer it has gone the harder it has been to try and catch up. Here are some pictures from the past few months and some highlights from that time. I am working to get Jacob's blog set up and will debut it soon, hopefully!
Over the past 8 weeks we have had visits from the following people:
Grammy and Poppa
Nana and Papaw
Andrew and Abby
Dori and Wes
Josh, Paige, and Lucy
The Saxbys
I don't have many, if any, pictures from these visits. Please know we love you and had a wonderful time with each of you. We are blessed to have had so much time with loved ones!

Excited about her special braids
She dressed herself...pj pants, sundress, and fleece. That is one way to get mom to agree to a sundress when it is 40 outside. She asks to wear a sundress EVERY day. This boy LOVES to help daddy fix things
So, Jonah got into the fridge, dropped some eggs around and then got a spoon to try and eat them. YIKES! This all happened in a few short minutes and completely silently. When he ran past me with a spoon I got curious. My heart completely stopped. I have never felt anything like what I felt seeing him try and eat the eggs. I spent the next 30 minutes holding him in one arm and the epi pen in the other. He was just fine. Thank God that he made raw eggs so difficult to pick up.
Emma so enjoys having Mariela here in Charleston! This was a hilarious moment as I looked over and Emma was on Mariela's lap, especially since Mariela is smaller than Emma now.
Emma adores Caretta the sea turtle (bottom right corner). This morning Caretta was napping in the corner and Emma just sat next to her as long as Jonah allowed her. I love the smile on her face!
Rare moment of Jonah standing still long enough for a picture.
Alligator at Mike's work...big guy, probably 6 feet. Since this picture we have found out that we have a 7 foot one in our neighborhood and a much smaller one in the pond one yard over.
Emma with her "nighttime gown" and matching gown for Molly Jonah
Jonah put his puppy in time out and gave him a talking to.
Love his smile!
He was upset because he couldn't play outside. He LOVES playing ball outside.
Yummy!
Of course Emma was participating for moral support!
Emma still just plays babies all day long. She has branched out to playing Jesus Class, Sunday School, and Preschool
Sprinkler Time
Jonah wasn't so sure about the sprinkler, but he was playing ball so he was happy as can be.
