Easter

We had a very fun Easter together as just our little family. We went to church and then stopped by Susan's for a little while. After naps we did a little egg hunt and then had dinner. It was gorgeous weather and we enjoyed the time together and time to reflect on what Easter means to us.

Jonah and I played trains all afternoon because he could not go outside. He has been having severe allergic reactions to the tree pollen and serious breathing issues. The egg hunt triggered his breathing problems so he and I stayed inside for some rare alone time. We are in the process of exploring solutions and triggers for the breathing with the allergist.

Cute boy ready for church

I think he looks like he is playing guitar in this picture

Emma was totally excited about the egg hunt and Jonah just wanted to play basketball

He loved looking for the eggs. It was a challenge to find things to put in his eggs that he could eat.

I love how this picture captured her excitement

Eating a cookie from his egg

She is so happy about the smallest things - animal crackers. She was most excited to announce she could share them with Jonah because he is allowed to have those. She is so thoughtful about Jonah and his allergies. She rejoices when he can have all parts of our meal or join her in a treat.

Happy Easter
