Poppa and Emma
Emma meeting Great GrandmaEmma and I decided on Saturday afternoon to drive to St. Louis on Sunday and surprise Poppa. (Yes-I know you think I am crazy to take my screaming 6 week old by myself.) Emma did great on the drive. We stopped twice for her to eat and she was excellent in the car. Mike is missing her like crazy, but Poppa and Grammy and Great-Grandma are loving having her here. I am enjoying being loved on and having help with Emma Kate. I did not tell Dad I was coming and called him from the driveway to come get Emma out of the car. He came outside with tears streaming down his face. It honestly was one of the greatest shows of emotion I have ever seen from my dad-and you know how emotional he is. I will post an update later in the week. Tonight we will watch the Steelers with Poppa and eat lots of Grammy's delicious food!

I am so glad you had a good trip to Grammy & Poppa's! I'm sure Great Grandma was so excited to meet you! I miss you so much. I'm praying for your Daddy because I know he misses you and Mommy so much!!!

So sweet! Im glad you guys had a good ride there. I'm praying its just as good on the way back, and that daddy survives w/o you two. We'll be in the 20-29. Hope to get to meet Emma then!

I'm sure it's really hard to say goodbye to Poppa, Grammy & Great Grandma today - but I also know you are so excited to see Daddy again!!!!
